Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why does 2026 week 1 start in December 2025?
ISO week 1 is the week containing the first Thursday of the year. 1 January 2026 is a Thursday, so week 1 starts on Monday 29 December 2025.
2100 is divisible by 4 — why is it not a leap year?
Years divisible by 100 are not leap years unless also divisible by 400. So 2000 was a leap year and 2100 is not.
