Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Are periods in "Mr." or "3.14" counted?
Yes. Periods, question marks and exclamation points end a sentence, so abbreviations and decimals can be counted as sentence ends. Check the result for text with many of them.
What about lines with no period?
Without ending punctuation, a line break alone may not start a new sentence.
