Current Limits

  • Maximum input length: 100,000 characters

Tells you which device and browser a long Mozilla/5.0 … string from a log describes. Only the string you enter is read; your own browser is not sent anywhere.

The User-Agent is self-reported and easily changed. Do not rely on it for security decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

It says Windows 10.0 on Windows 11.

Windows 11 also reports "Windows NT 10.0" in the UA, so the string alone cannot tell them apart.
